Recently, WEGO NERC (National Engineering Research Center for Medical Implant and Intervention Devices) is selected by NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission of China) as a new management sequence.
 
      WEGO NERC is the first national engineering research center led by enterprises in the industry to support and serve China’s national key projects implementation. The research team led by Jinghua Yin, Chief Engineer of WEGO Group, has been focusing on high-performance implantation and intervention to meet the future needs of medical device industry.
 
       Up to now, WEGO NERC has undertaken 177 scientific research projects, obtained 133 PCT patents, developed 15 national and international industry standards and won 4 National Science and Technology Awards.
