Dr. A. Fauzi Yahya, the Chairman of the Indonesian Society of Interventional Cardiology, recently visited the Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, marking a significant stride in international medical collaboration. This visit focused on enhancing the utilization and understanding of coronary absorbable stent technologies and improving clinical protocols for treating coronary diseases. 

Engaging with Dr. Ge Junbo, the director of one of China's top Cardiovascular Unis, Dr. Fauzi delved into advancements in cardiac care, notably observing the application of the Xinsorb coronary absorbable stent, an innovative consumable developed under the leadership of Dr. Ge's team. This observation, alongside the review of nearly 1000 cases of stent implantation in the last three years, underscored the shared commitment to cardiac care excellence between Indonesian and Chinese professionals. 

The discussions also touched upon collaborative projects, including a fellowship program for Indonesian doctors in China, showcasing Zhongshan Hospital's dedication to digital innovations in patient care and research through a tour of their cardiovascular data center. 

Highlighting a spirit of cooperation, Dr.Fauzi invited Zhongshan doctors to share their expertise at the ISICAM conference, reinforcing the strong ties and potential for the future Indonesia-China Partnership. 

Dr Fauzi's visit, encapsulating technical exchange and shared surgical practices, not only strengthens the healthcare bond between Indonesia and China but also paves the way for future advancements in cardiac care through mutual knowledge and expertise sharing.
